This qualification has been accredited and credit rated by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) and sits in the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF).
Candidates are assessed with written examination for the first 4 elements and a practical work based risk assessment for the elements 5 to 11. The written examination is open book & on-line. Candidates can attend the written examination from his/her home/office sitting anywhere in the world.
The NEBOSH International General Certificate is suitable for those embarking on a career in health and safety, providing a sound basis for progression on to the International Diploma. No previous health and safety knowledge is required.
